Agri Aware & Lidl Farm
Farm-to-Fork Experience
In 2022, the Agri Aware Farm to Fork Experience at Lid Farm was opened by the former President of Ireland, Mary Robinson.
Lidl has turned 8.5 acres of land at its Newbridge distribution centre in County Kildare into a free educational resource. The initiative is supported by Agri Aware and Meade Farm, one of Lidl’s key suppliers.
Visitors are brought through a specially made facility to learn how local produce is sourced, how crops grow and even get a practical demonstration of crop growing.
