School of the Week – 28/04

Congratulations to our Incredible Edibles School of the Week Ms. Keohane’s Third class of the Carlow Educate Together National School in Co. Carlow.

Task 4 – Preparing and Cooking

Ms. Keohane and her students have been very busy this past week with Task 4 of the programme, preparing and eating.

Ms Keohane said that the students have been keeping a close eye on their vegetable patch watering it daily.

In class, students have been looking at food miles and talking about local and Irish produce. This week, the students harvested nettles from the school nettle patch and made nettle soup with all local vegetables.
