Agri Aware is delighted to announce that Belview Eggs has become the first dedicated poultry company to join the organisation as a patron.
Established as one of Ireland’s leading egg producers, Belview Eggs has built a strong reputation for producing high-quality eggs while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare, food safety, and sustainable farming practices.
Belview Eggs becomes the 70th patron of Agri Aware, strengthening the agri-food educational body’s mission to enhance agricultural literacy among the general public. The company brings valuable expertise through its experience in food production, animal care, and sustainable farming, helping to inform consumers about the journey of food from farm to fork and the importance of Irish agriculture.
Commenting on becoming a patron of Agri Aware, Rachel Johnson, General Manager of Belview Eggs said: “We are delighted to be able to support such a worthwhile cause where education is the focus. We would love for people to learn more about laying hens and what’s involved in the day to day running of a poultry farm, the importance of biosecurity and how technically advanced our sector is.”
Speaking about Belview Eggs coming on board as a patron, Agri Aware Chair Shay Galvin said: “We are delighted to welcome Belview Eggs as a patron of Agri Aware. As the first dedicated poultry company to join our patron network, they bring valuable expertise and strengthen representation of an industry that plays a vital role in Irish agriculture. We look forward to working together to help educate the public about the importance of Irish farming and food production.”
