Cormac Tagging strengthens support for Agri Aware as it officially comes on board as a patron

Agri Aware is delighted to welcome Cormac Tagging as a new patron, building on the strong support the company has already provided to Agri Aware over recent months.

Cormac Tagging has played an active role in helping Agri Aware spread its message and encourage a greater understanding for Irish farming. Over the summer, the company supported two of Agri Aware’s major public events, Open Farm and the National Ploughing Championships, producing ear tag keyrings that were distributed to attendees and helped promote the importance of supporting Irish farmers and agriculture.

Agri Aware is delighted that Cormac Tagging has now strengthened its relationship with the organisation by officially coming on board as a patron this year. Cormac Tagging is an Irish company specialising in livestock identification and animal tagging solutions, supporting farmers with reliable and practical products designed for the day-to-day management and traceability of livestock.

Cormac Tagging joins more than 70 Agri Aware patrons from across Ireland’s agri-food sector. The support of these patrons enables Agri Aware to deliver educational programmes, public awareness campaigns and events nationwide, helping to strengthen the connection between farmers, food and consumers.

Commenting on becoming a patron of Agri Aware, Ursula Kelly, CEO of Cormac Tagging, said: “I’m really proud that Cormac Tagging is supporting Agri Aware through events like Open Farm, the Ploughing and as a patron. They are the ones helping young people understand where food comes from and see the opportunities across farming and the wider agricultural sector. Their important work matters to every business that depends on a strong future for Irish agriculture.”

Speaking about Cormac Tagging coming on board as a patron, Agri Aware Chair Shay Galvin said: “Cormac Tagging has been a fantastic supporter of Agri Aware over the past number of months, and we are delighted to now officially welcome them on board as a patron. Its support at Open Farm and the National Ploughing Championships helped us bring our message to thousands of people and encourage greater support and understanding of Irish farming. Patron support is hugely important in allowing Agri Aware to continue delivering our educational and public awareness work nationwide, and we look forward to building on our relationship with Ursula and the Cormac Tagging team.”
