PRIMARY SCHOOL
Safe Farm Futures
This programme aims to educate primary school goers on the safety practices being implemented on farms, as well as raising awareness of their importance.
Introduction
This programme helps students understand the importance of safety on farms by raising awareness of everyday risks and encouraging safe, sustainable practices for all.
The content is tailored for both junior and senior primary students and is structured around three key themes:
Countryside Care – understanding and respecting the rural environment
Animals and You – learning how to behave safely around animals
Moving Parts – identifying mechanical hazards and how to avoid them
Each topic comes with a range of teacher-friendly resources, including lesson plans, activity sheets, and webinars, making it easy to bring farm safety into the classroom.
These free, curriculum-aligned resources are designed to teach farm safety in an engaging and age-appropriate way.
Registered schools will gain access to the resources in October, 2025.
