Incredible Edibles School of the Week | Morning Star National School, Co Cork

Congratulations to Gwen McAleer’s Junior & Senior Infants, Morning Star National School, Co Cork. They have been crowned this week’s Incredible Edibles School of the week.

In task three of Incredible Edibles, Ms. McAleer’s class was busy documenting the progress of the seedlings, their favourite part of the project.

They learned all about where their food came from and are really excited to grow and eat their own food.

The children brainstormed about plants, after a while they had learned every part of the plants.

Obair Iontach, well done to all!

The children have been really enjoying all of the tasks in the Incredible Edibles programme.

We have just finished Task four and we are really looking forward to Task five. We LOVED task three the most. Our caretaker John helped us to move our plants outdoors. It was so exciting!!! We still have our strawberry plants growing indoors and we can’t wait to see them grow into real strawberries.
