Incredible Edibles
Meath football stars Stacey Grimes, Shauna Ennis and Katie Newe launched the Agri Aware Incredible Edibles Schools programme.
The Incredible Edibles programme provides schools with free fruit and vegetable growing kits. The children get a hands-on experience of growing and eating their food. They learn all about how food gets to their plates.
Incredible Edibles is entering its fifteenth year, celebrated by Ireland’s best fifteen at the launch.
Farm Walk & Talk 2024
Farm Walk and Talk is an interactive series of events for second-level, agricultural science students throughout early spring on 10 research farms across the country as well as the addition of a beef and tillage farm in Co. Donegal for 2024.
Once again this year, all schools that attend the Farm Walk & Talk Events get access to a suite of educational videos from a variety of contributors alongside the comprehensive study notes booklet.

Sustaining Ireland
Campaign
Agriculture is Ireland’s oldest industry. From our first settlers almost 10,000 years ago, it continues to evolve, tending to crops, caring for animals and providing for its people.
We invite you to learn about our farms, discovering the various people and families who are producing your food, and the environmentally friendly farming methods that they are using to ensure our shared future is protected for generations to come.
Our Programmes for
Primary Schools
Agri Aware offers a variety of primary school programmes that are inclusive of Junior Infants through 6th Class. All of our programmes are linked into the primary school curriculum and have been designed to engage students through fun, hands-on activities.
Additionally, these programmes provide teachers with all the information needed, including lesson plans, keywords, objectives, learning outcomes, suggested activities and supplemental materials, to confidently deliver the various agricultural topics.
