Agri Aware, the Irish agri-food educational body, invites you to 'Be Agri Aware and celebrate Irish agriculture!'. The celebrations take place at Family Farm, developed by Agri Aware and Dublin Zoo on Sunday, 28 June 2015 from 12 noon

Visitors to family farm will be given tours of the farm, as well as demonstrations of butter churning, sheep shearing, bee-keeping, spinning and weaving. They can also watch Laura the Family Farm Dairy Cow being milked, sample quality Irish food products and attend a dairy nutrition talk.

12.30pm – 2.30pm Sampling of quality Irish food products

12.45pm Tour of Family Farm by Elizabeth Finnegan, Agri Aware

1.00pm Shearing demonstration by Graham and Godfrey Potterton

1pm-3pm Face painting

1pm Milking demonstration by Zoo keeper Eddie O’Brien

1.45pm Dairy nutrition talk by National Dairy Council Nutritionist

1pm-3pm Weaving and spinning demonstration by Craft Guild Members

2pm Butter churning demonstration by Elizabeth Finnegan, Agri Aware

2.15pm Shearing demonstration by Godfrey and Graham Potterton
