Dig In to a week of fun filled activities at Family Farm, Dublin Zoo this Heritage Week!

This year to celebrate National Heritage Week 2017 (Saturday 19th of August until Sunday 27th of August). Family Farm, developed by Agri Aware and Dublin Zoo will be host to an array of activities from beekeeping to butter churning!
The theme this year is “It’s in your Nature” and the week focuses on nature and people. Agriculture has always been key to promoting wildlife and historically has a had major influence on Irish wildlife and heritage.
Family Farm, Dublin Zoo via will showcase the skills of years gone by and promote the role farming plays in protecting our beautiful wildlife. There is an action-packed schedule throughout the week with experts in hand shearing, hay rope making, beekeeping and more lending their skills for talks and workshops.
