Every week in the Irish Farmers Journal Common Agricultural Policy expert Peter Young explains different aspects of the reformed CAP and provides detailed information on its implementation across Europe.

Peter Young is a full-time journalist with the Irish Farmers Journal where he has worked for the last 16 years. During that time he has written extensively on dairying, beef, farm finance and more recently CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) reform. Peter is a Qualified Financial Advisor and a member of the Insurance Institute of Ireland and LIA, the Professional Association of Financial Services. With his wife Jenny, he runs a 100 cow dairy farm in Kildare.
